Project Snapshot Exporter Updates
- Enhancement: Now records the layers that make up compound structures (walls, roofs, floors, ceilings, building pads)
- Enhancement: Now records dimension segment information, including when override text is used. Project health check sample report now gives a “health score” value for dimension override usage.
- Enhancement: Now records the Project Elevation value for levels.
- Enhancement: Now records grid endpoints and angles
- Enhancement: Recorded warnings health scores are now multiplied by 10 to provide values more consistent with other health scores
- Enhancement: Configuring scheduled jobs and configuring Model Compare filtering now works much better on scaled-up 4K monitors.
- Enhancement: Snapshots can now be created from projects that have duplicate non-shared project parameters.
- Enhancement: By customer requests, parameter name filtering no longer applies to project parameters. All project parameters are always retrieved.
- Enhancement: Project Snapshot Exporter will now default to using optimal health check filter settings for new installations. The “Reset” button on the filter settings dialog will also reset to optimal health check settings for all users. The user can always load or save any settings they want, and set any settings they want to be their defaults.
- Enhancement: Taking snapshots is faster, as is sending them to SQL server.

- Tool Introduced in this version of BIM Data Suite
Fixes
- Improved data gathering robustness for dimension values in projects that were originally created in very old versions of Revit and have been upgraded several times.
- Fixed an issue with Revit 20.1 not being able to take snapshots where project parameters are bound to new categories added with Revit 20.1
- Changed dimension reporting such that the ValueString is always the dimensional value in display units, regardless of overrides reported back by Revit.
- Fixed issue that can occur when recording dimension values for angular dimensions
- If snapshotting warnings but not worksets, an error would be generated because workset information is required for warnings. Workset information is now automatically gathered whenever warnings information is gathered.
- Fixed an installer bug that would only occur on some computers and only in the 19.0.1 release
- Views with auto-generated names that are extremely long will no longer cause errors when taking snapshots.
- Fixed an issue with capturing warnings where the description or resolution text is too long, and converting to the reporting data when OwnerViewName was too long.
